Deck (Cost to Build)

I'm wondering what is the average cost per sq. feet to building a deck?

What is the $/sq ft for Pressure Treated Wood?

What is the $/sq ft for Cedar?

What is the $/sq ft for Composite?

Is it cheaper to build a deck? Or patterned concrete?

Hope someone can provide answers to my questions.

Thank you.

Good Morning Leo,

Check your Lowes flyer for this week. They have pricing per linear foot and it will give you an idea of cost..

If you need a quote; you should post your project

Enjoy the week-end

Dave is absolutely correct. By posting your project with a little more detail as to area (dimensions) , height of the ground, ledger board connections etc it would be easier to provide some on line preliminary estimates. Of course a more accurate estimate would be available after an on site assessment.

Hello Leo,

The cost of building a deck varies in what part of the country you live in. An assessment, like Glenn mentioned from a qualified contractor would be your most accurate way of getting a price.
