Hi - I was looking for a ball park figure on removing and set of stairs and replacing it with a new pressure treated stairs and small landing.

There are 3 stairs and small deck 4x6 and then 4 stairs down to the ground - I am thinking about the metal balusters with pressure treated top/ bottom rails.

Any idea on what that would cost? I have received a quote that I think it way out too lunch.

Thanks for your help.

Paul

Hey Paul,

Stairs are around $150 per rise, landings are $20/sq ft and railings are around $45 ln ft. There is a lot of precision craftsmanship involved and is very time consuming.

I hope this helps.
