Deck Stairs and Landing

I am moving soon to this place and need to install deck stairs and a landing for my dogs. The weather is usually below 40 now, what can I do to building this landing onto grass as I see concrete slab is likely not possible now.

You can hammer in post supports.

They are metal square brackets on 3' long jacks that can be hammered into the ground. You then install your 4" 4" posts and tighten the bolts. Then build the structure.

Do NOT use hammer in posts as most of these are not rated for vertical loads.
