Hi,

I am thinking to open a direct access into the garage from inside the house, it's a single garage. The house is located in Markham, Ontario.

I heard there's permit that we have to request. How about architectural drawings and engineer stamp? What is required? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You will need a permit. Architects drawing showing the structural support for opening. They will also specify demolishing requirements based on the structure of the existing wall.
