I have a dishwasher that is in a space where the top is quartz. And there are two hooks that hold the dishwasher in place at the top. The contractor used silicone to hold them in place but after time, the silicone melted with the heat and water vapour. What can I use to adhere the hooks to the top? The quartz is one inch thick.
Try plc adhesive 100 percent better than silicone
Most dishwashers have knockouts in front of the door seals near the top of the door. If you have the manual you could probably look it up. They are there for exactly this situation. Once you open them you can screw into the cabinet sides. If you don't have them and the silicone isn't working you can use epoxy.
Good luck with it.

just use the brackets and attach the dishwasher to the side of your cabinets. they come with brackets espcially made for that.
