Hello,

You are correct. That is way too high!!! My drywall contractor charges me 9$/sq. ft for insulation, drywall, taping & texture. That's supplied and installed. So on a 1,000 sq. ft basement I am paying 9k all in.

Yep. Thats it already 11000-15000 between.

Little bit high but different contarctors different price.

This is not clear. Is there a total of 2500 SF walls & ceiling or 1500 total? If 1500 sf can do it for about $ 9000, like the other guy said.

2500 sqft supplied instal. Tape sander primer

A little on high end but not unreasonable.

6 $ sqft I would try to negotiate to 5.50 sqft

But dont know perticualrs mayde a lot of cutting high ceilings ??

Definitely way too high. I'd charge or pay anywhere between $3200-$5000 including materials. If it's high ceilings add about $1500 more max.

My name is Jason Hutchins and I am a contractor in whitby. To answer your question, is this price just for the boarding? Does it Also include the mudding to finish and supplies? And did you communicate the level of finish? Are you looking for super high end perfection, or something a little more modest? And what is the framing like? Are there a lot of bulkheads? Rounded corners? There are a lot of factors.
