My panel is currently located on the outside of the house in a plywood box with cedar siding and flashing across the top and also locks. We are in BC. Does this pass code?
Im assuming it is to code as i am not familiar with BC codes but if you see an inspection sticker with a final with a date then it is ok. Also if your meter has a tag on it odds are it also passed code. Panels are allowed to be located outside in some cases, yours does have a shelter so it should be to code.
I'm not sure, I'm in Ontario. Codes are different in every province. I would check with your local electrical authority.
Thank you
Derek
