Hello Norma,

When the work is completed and invoice should be provided which clearly outlines amount owed and taxes. Should also include thier company information and HST number.

Hi

Typically an estimate is given before work has begun, and an invoice is for when work has been completed. Hope this helps.

If a Estimate for some work has been asked for. This is usually provided before the work proceeds. If this was NOT asked for and the customer asked the Contractor to proceed with the work and the work or part of the work was completed to the customers satisfaction , the contractor can Invoice the customer for the work preformed or service

provided.

An estimate is given before the job starts. If awarded and then completed the contractor should issue an invoice for the total cost to recieve payment for the job.
