Exhaust fan does not turn off automatically in a condo unit

Exhaust fan does not turn off automatically in a condo unit. Superintendent checked and suggested that was a dryer problem. Therefore, I hired an appliance repair guy to inspect and he told me that my dryer was working fine. I can only turn off this exhaust fan through turning off a button in electric pane as no switch in laundry room.

I talked to management office and the lady said this was owner's responsibility to fix it. What could the problem be?

The attached picture was the ceiling of laundry room.

Thanks very much!

High humidity may force this to continue running. Has it ever been able to be turned off or on remotely? Call an electrician capable of knowing how these work, it may not be a simple 120 volt light switch and may just waste your time and money.

I know what the issue is, there is a relay that sounds like it needs replacement. Sometimes located in the the Panel, Dryer box or on the duct work.

Thanks all for your replies. Does it mean an electrician can fix the problem?

I hired an appliance repair guy as superintendent suggested that should be a problem of dryer. As appliance repair guy said my dryer was working fine then superintendent said he did not know what's going wrong. Property management said maybe I should call duct fighter to come. They do not care and just keep saying that is owner's responsibility. I am very confused now and would really like to know which specialist should I call?

Thanks very much!
