Do I need a permit if I'm just putting up proper walls then putting in new components? There is no electrical, no plumbing and no structural change.
Don't need permit for facelift
If you're not changing or adding to the plumbing, electrical or structure of the room I would say you don't require a permit, however I would recommend you check with your local inspector as your jurisdiction may differ from mine and it's always wise to check with the authority having jurisdiction.
No you don't if you are not changing plumbing, electrical or structure but it's always better to check with your city
Hi my companies kitchen doctor and I've been in business now in the city of Calgary for 29 years. To the best of my knowledge you do not require a permit or a facelift if there's any relocation of your toilet sink or tub it would require you to obtain this document. But in all my years I've never been in a position where a cosmetic reconstruction requires A permit
Hi,
I can tell you that in the Niagara region and in the Toronto region there would be no need for a permit for the type of work you describe.
Enjoy.

This would not require a permit, based on your scope, in Winnipeg.
Wouldn't hurt to call your local planning, property & development branch if you're concerned.
Best of luck....
