Garage Ceiling Lights

I am building a new garage and for ceiling lights I would like to use 4 foot fixtures with LED strips in them that are usl approved (maybe not CSA). They come with a 4 foot wire with a plug on the end (there is a switch also, in-line on the wire). Can I just install plugs and plug them in or do I need to hardwire them in an octagonal. I live in Ontario
