Gentek and Kaycan vinyl siding

We deal with both kinds and others. Each manufacturer will tell you that theirs is the best but I've had good luck with both.

My main considerations with choosing is first the color. Do they have the color I need?

Second is availability, do they have what I need in stock and how far away is the distribution center.

Third is price. The main difference in cost is whether you are a volume buyer or not. Gentek hasa policy of only selling to contractors and retailers, not home owners or home builders.

Hi, Gentek uses Royal Siding for there material which I recommend most of the bigger suppliers of Siding carry it like Convoy & Monarch, Kaycan has there own product which I find feels cheaper and is a bit brittle I'd say breaks easier.

After installing for over 20 years I can tell you from experience that Gentek is a much better product. Both manufacturers have a huge variety of colors but Gentek makes there own siding out of Burlington as does Kaycan but they manufacture out of Quebec. Gentek Building Products if you Google it there's ton of stuff online. If you have any questions lemme know
