Hey everyone,
I just noticed a hairline crack in my plaster ceiling that has a swirl design. It is a relatively straight crack with a length of roughly 10 feet. I would like to keep the same design in the ceiling but need to fix the crack.
Any solutions??
Joel
A picture of the design would be very helpful in describing what you can do:)
Hi Joel, what I have done in the same situation is got some plaster and filled the crack up sanded It Off primed and painted it. There's lots of different products you can use to fill the crack but make sure it will adhere to the existing plaster
Hi. I have been using Peel Stop by Zinsser to fix cracks in plaster and drywall. It's a paint on product that fills small hairline cracks. I use DryDex after to smooth out any imperfections.
Here's a link. You can also see my review there.
It's about the quickest and easiest method I have found. Should work well with the pattwrn in your ceiling.
Good luck.
Steve.
