Advice needed on painting the exterior of our house. I'm not a fan of the brown paint color and the extra pieces of what the trim. What color scheme for the wall, trim, and windows would go with red brick? Should we remove the ivy from the front porch?
Hi Natosha
There are several way to change the appearance and curb appeal of the home, simply by replacing the board and batten with either Hardee Board siding or convert the exterior to an acrylic stucco. I believe a light grey may be easier on the eye. Several different designs or textures are available in either realm. Let me know if you want to pursue something like that.

If your only looking to paint get some samples and take them home. Once you narrow down samples go purchase small amounts of each of your choice. Paint a small area with each and narrow it down. This is cheaper in the long-run if you can't decide in the now! Or, you can do it digitally there's many softwares out there you can visually add materials and textures to a picture of your home or wall.
Also the other advice from the gentleman was good aswell. I would personally change those gable ends using composite cedar shingles. Between a Grey or colorful beige. I would seal my brick wall or paint it either or...Best of luck
