Installing a maxx neo angle shower kit. How can I close a gap on wall panel not sitting on the base unit, walls not plum in an older cottage, 3/8 gap.
Any options, metal cap, rubber
The neoangle showers are very particular about everything being plumb and level. I would suggest that you make it plumb and square. Even when/if you filled the gap then your next problem would prob be the door not closing or sealing properly. Also if your cottage shifts with the seasons then this is not the unit to have. This is my opinion only and I would not have this in my own cottage. This would only be an ongoing issue. Hope this is helpful.
We always plumb and square the base to the wall panels a d vice versa, you dry fit first to get the needed adjustments and shim as required. Any gaps after a proper fit can be filled with caulk or trim but a good contractor will recommend fixing walls first if it is that bad. If you try to leave if the way you described it will leak pretty bad.
