Hey there,

So I'm building a 50x50 shop stick frame 2x6 walls on a 10incb high foundation wall. I have all the plans for building and trusses done up. I'm just wondering on what nails, anchors, strapping procedures to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can send drawings as well.

The Building Code requires that walls be anchored to the foundation with 1/2" anchors embedded 100 mm into the concrete with a spacing of 2.4m (8'). If you did not embed L-anchors in the concrete your local municipality will likely accept Hilti fasteners. Any required trapping should be illustrated in the truss drawings (assuming it's roof strapping you're asking about).

Your question is odd? You need to have a development and building permit in place. All this will be specified by the engineer? in regards to yuor area of the country and codes, zoning? I assume you have this?. I strongly suggest you hire a general contractor is you are thinking of doing it yourself
