I am considering a remodel of my house to bring it from an 1980's outdated look into the 21st century. The house is roughly 1300 sq. ft and it would be a major renovation project involving a new kitchen, new bathroom and new floors throughout the house.
What should one expect to spend on such a project, assuming one sticks to average price materials?
Thanks,
Roberto
Hi it all depends on your taste and style it s don t have fix prices for renovation you just have get a few in home estimate and go from there.
Depends on how far exactly you want to go and what you may discover while doing the Reno but wouldnt be surprised if you would be 100,000 at least
Hello Roberto,
All prices may very depending on geographical location because of labour costs etc. I always prefer to carry a budget price of $80-$120 per square foot. This will give you flexibility on materials, allow room to hire a designer and also some extra money for the unexpected pop ups which typically happen in a renovation.
It's hard to priced based on the information provided. The best thing is to invite few trusted contractors for estimates and best on the evaluation you would be able to choose the right price for the right contractor for your project.
