I am looking at renovating my home which is a total of 2000 sq ft.

We would be ripping up old hardwood and laying laminate down. We would be recreating our master ensuite and then new vanities and floor tiles for two bathrooms. We also would like the whole house repainted.

What cost would I be looking at approx? Is there a charge per sq ft?

Hi,

there is a price per square foot usually between $1.50 to $3.00. The square footage of your house is pretty much equal to your ceillings, wall footage would have to be measured width times height for each wall being painted. Sometimes I quote by the room or by square footage.

There are multiple factors to consider in your renovation plans. It really varies depending on what options you choose. For example, the price of tile can vary from 1$ -v 50$ per square foot just to buy the tile. This is the same with fixtures flooring ect. There is a consistency on labour costs for painting, installing flooring, plumbing...ect. But to get an accurate idea of what your renovation would cost you would have to provide more information and an on site estimate would be very helpful.

Hopefully this was helpful.

Bathrooms and Kitchens are the most costly rooms to renovate in your home as they involve essentially every trade to complete the work. We have completed bathrooms at $150 ft/2 to $210 ft/2 depending on the selections made by our customers for tile and plumbing components.

The total costs for your renovation would be easier to determine after an onsite consultation. We would need to accurately measure the areas impacted by the reno to determine the quantities of materials required. We would also want to determine cost allowances for the materials and selections that you would want installed as there is a wide range in price and quality of materials available.

Hopefully this points you in the right direction.
