How do I know or find out if my house was built on bedrock? It is in Prospect Bay, on Prospect Bay Rd., built at least 60 years ago. Full basement, 3/4 finished.

Hi Sherry,
You will need a geotechnical engineer to do soil tests.

Hi Sherry,
I'm sure with an extensive amount of time & research you could find out for minimal costs but your time is worth something.
Check with your local archives department to start but eventually it may come down to hiring an engineer if you really want / need to know.
