Old deck rotting below. Needs to be removed. It's 13 feet by 22 feet. Got a quote for $1700. Seems expensive. How much should it cost?
That sounds like a fair price if removal of all the materials is done. Dump prices and costs to run a truck for removal of materials isn't cheap.
The price of $1700.00 is very close. I would assume this includes clean up and removal of all debris?
Every city will very. The dump fees will very from city to city. Here in Regina SK I would charge around 1500.00 to do the removal.
Thanks for your input. The price includes waste removal but footings are left in ground.
We would charge $ 1250- to remove deck as well as clean up all debris & dispose it. Disposal fee included.
Every job has a difficulty factor. Without seeing your deck and all the specifics that take up time to do a job properly, it sounds like a fair price.
First, is it on a 2nd story or on the ground? Is it wood or vinyl deck?
Depends where u live and is it going to be a rip off and patch up or get ready for another deck.
If its 2nd story or a vinyl deck or a nice tar down all cleaned up like a pro, I would say $1400 to $2000.
If it was a ground level wood with a rip down clean up and down looking around $1000 to $1500.
The job can be done in a day and the ball park I would put this job at would be $1500. That includes the removal of concrete footings and removal of all garbage.
No one mentioned the degree of difficulty. Height of Deck, Access to materials to be removed.

Kevin
