Hello sir/madam.

The cost of renovation the basement it depends what you like it be (design) and which kind of material you will use i mean flooring, the washroom, the pot light.....etc. I suggest to you decide first and after that you will get the exact cost.

Thank you

The cost of a basement renovation is equal to the sum of parts, labour and related costs-(permits, plans, etc.). The square footage and design also have a direct correlation, so get a contractor or two in for your estimate as soon as you can!

You'll be glad you did!

I often tell my clients to budget 25k if they need to underpin, this would usually cover interior waterproofing, as well as new slab.

Main drain will need to be replaced, along with back flow and sump pit, allow 10k.

then comes the finishing, with a small washroom, and moderate finishes I would allow 40k, including plumbing and electrical.

You may also require new stairs to the basement, especially if you have lowered the basement, allow 4k

The best thing is to first work with someone to nail down the design, then you will receive a fair price for what you want.

We need more information before any rough estimates could even be entertained. Square footage, what you want done, quality, what is already there, and so much more. It's like me asking you to give me a price on a vehicle, without specifying anything more.

You should be getting budget ranges that are approximately $40-$45/sqft for open area, plus additional cost for other items that you want to include (kitchen, bath, fireplace, etc.)

Once a detailed scope is completed/provided, then you will be able to obtain accurate pricing.

I hope this helps.
