I'm installing vapor barrier and just wondering what the code for overlap is at the ceiling, floor and joins in the wall?

For ceiling vapour barrier 6 inches on each side of the vapour barrier so a total of one foot extra is enough. And also between each truss throughout the whole perimeter you should push the vapour barrier up so drywall can be installed properly.

5 to 6 inches each end.
