.Hi, I do apartment repaints for a Property management company and have a chance to bid on a bigger job then I am used to and really dont have a clue what the labour is worth.
. Its a new building, Aprox. 2800 sq ft in total footprint.
17 offices with a total sq ft surface area for walls is 4704 sq ft, and 1779 sq of ceilings.
New drywall, no doors or door frames, no window frames or baseboards.
White ceilings, light grey walls.
1 coat of primer on all, 1 coat of ceiling paint, 2 coats of wall paint. we have a good idea how to figure out how much paint we need. Would .33 cents per coat per sq ft be about right on the low end of prices? Any help on bidding this job would be welcome. Thanks in advance
You will be eating peanut butter next month if you charge .33/sqft. bid same you do on residential, commercial is actually usually more. The going rate here for repaints is from $2.56-$3.65/sqft floor area & ceilings are usually .50/sqft extra. and includes all supplies/paint and mi n 2-3 coats. Base/casing/doors is extra usually $30/door and from .50/ft for trim
