How much to renovate bathroom shower?

I would first need to create the necessary space by tearing down an existing wall to enlarge the bathroom. I am looking for a tile/glass shower similar to the one shown, with a bench, wall grooves to hold soap, shampoo etc. I do not need top of the line faucets, but would want a hand held shower head as well as a fixed one.

How much would something like this cost? I am only looking for estimates at this time.

Thank you.

To create that type of shower and to create the space in a bedroom, you are looking around 10k. This would be priced to execute.

A good budget to use would be $10,000 and cost could be reduced based products purchased ie sale items.

You must first have plans. Even rough drawings to develop from. Find your plumbing accessories, tile and ceramics and note the prices of all you will need at your local hardware or big box store.

Then call in a local contractor (or two) to go through your ideas for an estimate. Then you will have a sound idea of the general question, "HOW MUCH?" Easy.

Typical shower is 2800. But the glass in this pic is roughly 2000. Then tiles and design and demo your looking at 7800.00 all in.

This shower can be done for 6000 to 8000. All depends in choice of tile and faucet set up. The glass cost is alot better than it used to be.

For a job that big you would want to make sure you have at least 80000 in your budget. It would probably cost less but it depends on how old the house is and what is found while dismantling the existing roof ie. Rotten wood or insufficient load bearing walls and beams.

Hi,

I am currently re doing a wash room in Beaches area on third floor using curb less shower pan, free standing tub, niches, bench, heated floor, his and her vanity, toilet, tiles, moisture sensor auto fan very quiet, walk in closet, barn door its in 50k.+ range.

Depends on lots of factors you can do it on your budget finishing material is very important and have to decide every detail as some one said get it measured do the proper design there are ready made material available for water proof and peace of mind if its on main floor or floors above do not compromise if it leaks you will land up doing again.
