How should I fix or fill the huge space between wall and floor?

Hi Anthony

First you will have to know what has caused this problem, and if it has or if you feel it is getting worse. By looking at your floor

it looks fairly old, so if this gap has always been there and you can see no structural damage in your basement or floor members, than YES just foam it up and cover it with a extra large Quarter round or cove mould. Apply green painter tape all along the floor to protect it from the foam.

Is the floor sinking...??.....check the basement.

The post on the left seems to be flush with the floor ?????

If nothing is moving(anymore),.... than foam, baseboard and/or quarterround are OK..
