I have pantry doors made from 3 vertical pine boards they are sagging on the outside 2 boards scraping my floor how do I fix the sag
First thing to do is check to make sure your hardware is tight (check all screws). If they are all tight I would question the humidity in your house. When did the doors start sagging (was it humid)? are there days when they don't scrap the floor? If they constantly scrap regardless of conditions then they may need to be looked at for repair &/or replacement.
Open the door.
If the top hinge is loose, push the door up and back to straighten the door.
Tighten the screws while your helper holds the door in that position.
Let the door hang by itself.
Open and close the door several times to make sure the screws don't work loose right away.
