Need to remove kitchen cabinet from wall, recently had marble tile put on wall. Cannot remove cabinet because part of cabinet is grouted to tile. Except for cutting it out, any ideas on how to remove cabinet? All of the screws are out and the cabinet will not move..
Cut the tile grout with a utility knife or scribe it with a chisel then with a hammer pound the cabinet from underneath and it will come out real quick if all the screws have been removed from the wall. PS I've had upper kitchen cabinets hold on with just caulking LOL
Hi, Before the Cabinets can Come out, you have to take a few Preliminary steps.
1.Remove any trim or molding.
2.Turn of the stop valves under the Sink .
3.Disconnect and remove the Range dishwasher and any other appliances that might be in the way.
4.Take out all the Cabinets themselves is Simply a matter order base cabinets first, then the upper Cabinets.
Most of the Cabinets from the last 25 years or so are, factory built boxes screwed to one , another one site.
That s why you lol generally see vertical seams in the face frames if that s what you have, find and remove all the screws in the edges of the Stiles, wich hold the Cabinets together. Then take out the Screws holding the Cabinet to the wall or floor.
