Hi Paul

I'm a sole proprietor GC and had to do the same thing to do work in my brother's restaurant in Ottawa. Call up your local

Carpenter's Union Office and simply ask them

what the going rate is. Sometimes it depends on the type of work ( Finishing , steel framing or form work )

Hi Paul,

Going rate in MB is $75+ / hr on average but it also depends on the type of work as certain tasks are charged out differently.

Best of luck.....
