I would like a ballpark estimate for a bathroom renovation

Between 4500 and up but it all depends what you want in your bathroom.

This is exactly what we did in ours. We removed the tub ourselves, did the framing and installed tile backer ourselves. Then hired a plumber and tile setter. Finally we installed glass doors ourselves. the entire floor got tiled. The room is 5 x 9 and we went with fairly inexpensive tile.

Cost: $4000

Our ball park figure would be between $3800 to $4800. But we do offer free in home estimates. which is always better way to get a true figure estimate.

Be wary of any quote less than $4500. Do not cheap out on tile prep & installation.

The ballpark for such job only labour & building materials is $6000.

Definitely be carful of low priced quotes, the most important work is done in behind the tiles, the prep work and water proofing. This not done right it doesn't matter how good the tiles look you will have problems down the road. Roughly $5000-$8000.

I think I would decide on a specific amount that you would like to invest in your bathroom or decide on all the specific materials and colours you would like to use and record this information. I would then chose a specific company that you would have serve you based upon your judgement of their clients reviews online or by contact them in person. Let this company know exactly how much you would like to invest or let them know all of the materials they would like to use. Then they can give you a direct answer on what they can do for you. This will help you attract exactly who you want to do what you want. Most companies will give you what ever they think they're services are worth but this may attract someone who may not provides a service that communicates what materials you will get ad what quality and you may end up investing money and getting someone you don't want todo what you want.
