Received a quote for vinyl siding of 100 sq feet at $5.95 and it says included installation '. Would that include the labour charges for putting that on or would those charges be above that quoted estimate of $595?
Thanks!
Usually the price you receive includes installation and labor. I would ask the company who provided you the quote just to make sure. It's also a good idea to get a few quotes from multiple companies.

Myrna, I would suggest you ask the contractor who provided the estimate exactly what is included. Does the former siding (if any) have to be removed? Does this include tyvek or typar or some other barrier to be applied between the wall material and the siding? Does this also include a clean-up? AND, ... ask about the brand & quality of the siding.
Get it done properly. Take care.
Abtco vinyl siding in a number of colours is stocked at Home depot costs approx $0.90 per sqft, therefor he is charging you $5.00 sqft for installation, if he is an experienced siding installer he will be in and out in couple of hours. So the answer is yes I believe that is the total price
Good Luck with your project

Hi,
If you're from Guelph Ont, I wont be much help to you. I'm in Saskatoon SK. But to answer your question that price should include labour and material. Make sure you clarify that with the contractor before starting and please ask for a reference. One more thing, a job this size should not require any money up front, it is a one day job or less.
Good luck
Tim.
