I have a glassed in sun porch that is the access to the backyard. The porch flooring is not insulated and has access approximately three feet above ground. This flooring is slanted toward the door. Therefore the door only opens about a foot. I would like to remove one glass panel and the door panel to replace with a sliding back door Not looking to replace the sunroom just to make it accessible to the outside.

I am not sure what professional does this. Please refer the right trade persons.

A good window and door company is what you need! Should be two or three in your area.

Four years ago we replaced all the glass in sunroom. We used royal covers . service. Make sure you get a good installer because installation is really important. You want a quality door that slides properly and you want to be sure it is sealed from water damage.
