Installation or DIY?

I'm wondering how many of you do DIY or installation. Home Depot has installation services, but I'm thinking doing it myself would be nice, BUT if I mess up, I'm going to have a crooked board or holes in my shelf... Thanks.

I try to do a little DIY when possible but if it is a tough job I have no hesitation to call in the experts. If you have any doubts that you are unable to complete your project successfully, I would recommend that you call in the experts, Grace.

I agree with John on this one for sure. I try to do everything myself as much as possible but I know my limitations too and I'd rather have a functional home than try to do things I have no idea about.

Thanks guys! I think I'll stick to the installation services at Home Depot or wherever. I just thought that DIY might be fun and it might improve my renovation skills. (!) :)
