Installing interlocking, limited access to backyard

I'm looking to install interlocking patio.
Plan A:
Access to backyard is narrow, with an AC installed in there. The space between side fence and AC is about 18 to 20 inches. Is it doable?
Plan B:
The fences are not all up yet, I haven't ask yet, my left backyard neighbour might allow me to use part of their property to move things in and out.

Yes anything is possible. We would have to use wheelbarrows to get by the a/c. If you could get the ok before the fence goes up our excavator would be less expensive.
