I want to insulate my basement floor and install engineered flooring. Should I use 1 ridged foam then plywood or pressboard below the engineered flooring?

I would install Barricade 2'x2' panels. You can get them with air channels on the bottom or rigid foam. The foam will give a little more insulation.

These boards also protect yout flooring from water damage, as any water entry from the foundation will travel under them

Hope this helps out.
