Do I need to insulate a basement wall next to a crawl space?

If the crawl space is heated and insulted then no, if it is a cold non heated crawl space, then yes.

As David suggested. I believe you're asking because it is cold. Or the cost of insulation, you would gain some peace of mind plus some added warmth.
