Insurance for my off the grid home

I have lived in my off the grid house for over 10 years and my insurance keeps going up ... I am a single man with a single income ... I cannot afford the sky-rocketing insurance ... are there insurance companies who offer insurance for an off the grid home at a reasonable price?

Congratulations for being off the grid. Safety
is what Insurance companies like to hear. If something should fail ( Sump pump / heating system )They want to hear you have a good reliable proven back up system. Call small insurance Co.in your area. They typically will be associated with the big companies but very often have connection to smaller companies that the large one don't bother with. I have shopped around many times and have found this to be the case.
