We recently had halogen lights installed in our new kitchen. We noticed that some of the cabinet doors when opened fall under the halogen lights and this has caused the top of the door to blister and peel.
When I brought this up with the designer who designed the layout of both the lights and the cabinets they informed us that this location was standard and that we should just not leave our cabinet doors open for longer than 10 minutes.
Is this accurate, or should they have not put these lights in that location?
I suggest you try LED bulbs and avoid confrontation.
