You painted the exterior of the main floor of my house. You told me that I needed to have caulking done before winter set in. It set in sooner than expected. Is it too late to get that done?
Depending on where you reside will have a lot to do with that. However, if the surface is dry and it is in the time frame of when the sun is going to be on that area for awhile, you can caulk.
I have caulked in November when thee is frost in the morning. However, caulking, to set properly, should have at least one hour before the evening moisture hits it.
Whom ever painted the exterior of your house, should have scraped all the old caulking and applied new material befor any paint was applied. To do it in reverse order makes no sence at all.
And to answer your question, If you are in Southern Ontario it is not to late to caulk. But wait for a couple of sunny days.
