Kaycan vinyl siding

Yes, I've used Kaycan it's one of your regular vinyl sidings. As far as I'm concerned vinyl siding is never been a good exterior finish for any house. Hardie board is the new siding to use it's made with cement and it should last 40-50 years.

Thank you. But if I did use Vinyl, this brand is ok?

Hi Heather,

Yes this is probably the most common brand in the industry . If installed properly as per instructions you will be fine. The only thing however to keep in mind ,is that the darker colours do fade over time. If you should ever have to replace damaged pieces ,chances are the new piece will be darker then the old ones around it. Be sure to get between 5 to 10% extra ,incase something happens in the future. lots of different colours get discontinued very often.
