Hi,
I had a leak in my kitchen from the patio door. I replaced the door and they cut out the water damage in floor and fixed the hole. At the same time they cut a hole in my lenolium floor. Now I need fireplace the floor with something reasonable and nice. As I want to sell the house when issues are solved.
Can you please give me any ideas, help, sugestions, estimates, anything.
Thanks so much for your time.
Carolyn
I do concrete floors not linoleum or tile. Sorry can't help.
Hi Carolyn,
Sorry to hear about your issues.
Contrary to John's over-helpful advice, I would have to say that an in home evaluation would be warranted before any estimated could be given.
Tiles, such as ceramic or porcelain would be a suitable option for your kitchen and will withstand many years of use if installed correctly. These tiles can be purchased at any big box store (Home Depot) and are fairly inexpensive.
Posting the job on this website will enable you to get some quotes from some local contractors. Just remember, cheapest isn't always the best way to go...
Hope this helps,
Bill Clawsie
