I have a rectangular shape floor sized about 100 square feet. It has linoleum on it. It needs to be replaced with new linoleum.
On average:
What needs to be done?
How much time is needed to complete this project
What will the costs be for labor and materials?
5/6 hours remove and replace 500/600.
This all depends on the condition of your sub-floor and if the old flooring was glued or not. Most inexperienced Contractors will glue the flooring down. Linoleum is not meant to be glued in a residential setting. Commercial on other hand it's best to use a spray adhesive to protect the floor from movement which can result it tearing . Fpr a basic idea your looking at 3-4 hrs of removal of your old flooring if not glued ,
Linoleum usually runs around $2-4 a sqft and approx 4-6 hours to install depending on the baseboards and entrance ways. Which require a bit more time .
You should be comfortable at budgeting yourself at around $1,300 - $1,500.00
