Hello has anyone ever heard of Lifestepp Laminate, it is being sold at Hardwood design center in Burlington and is down from 4.99 to 1.99 sf. It is 15mm and has a 25 year warrenty. I can't find any reviews of this company and was wondering if anyone has heard anything about them.
Also if anyone has had any experience with Hardwood Design Center, they didn't have any samples to take away (although they said I could take a picture), and because it was a weekend promotion, there were no returns. Big ad in the paper and the place was very very busy.
There's so so many companies in the laminate floor category it's hard to keep up with all the companies and offerings. Just see if you can compare their product to other companies that are more known.
I wish I could help more, but really, laminate floor is something I typically leave to a customer to choose as it can be all about personal preference.
What you can do is call around to a couple flooring companies and ask questions. I would have concerns about buying any product that a vendor won't return or honor warranty on.
Hope this helps....
When I Googled them, all I could find was their own website. I am suspicious when the "contact us" section is "under construction" and there is no way to actually contact the company! Also, I would ask the flooring company you referred to why such a drastic drop in price! To me if there is a 66% drop in price: buyer beware! Personally, I would go with a company that is better known (especially in Canada) so you can be more assured of quality, warranty, etc.

Brett thank you. I walked away from the sale, the no return policy and pressure to buy or the deal will be gone didn't sit well, I too had googled and felt the same way about the company but thought I would see what professionals had to say.
Thank you again for taking the time to answer my question.
