I am wanting to build a tiny home but want to rethink it. I am envisioning a compound of small structures specialized for functions. So a building for a bathroom, one for a bedroom, one for a kitchen. All sorta tied together by a main open air roof structure. Is this legally possible?(It will be built in FL if that is relevant)
Its an interesting idea, but will be more expensive that building one home with one roof and one foundation.
If you don't mind paying more, enjoy!

Can't see why it wouldn't be possible as long as everything is built following the local building code. Separate structures are not going to be necessarily more expensive than one big box if you design and choose the materials wisely. And you can build them overtime instead of altogether which for sure is going to help with the cashflow.
Have a nice week.
