Mechanical seam vs snap lok?

I'm designing a house to build in the pring, and the 3:12 pitch needed for Snaplock will put me over height for my zoning.

I got a price today for 2" mechanical seam roofing that can go down to 3/4:12

$5600 (~1800 linear feet) plus $1.10 for clips, $2.10 for floating clips.

Snap lock was $5800 plus just screws to attach it.

The metal supplier will rent the hand crimpers and the Accuseamer by the day.

Any draw backs to doing a 2" mechanical seam roof?

It would keep everything a lot simpler than doing a torch on with downspouts, rim around the edge etc.

Thoughts?

It can be done for $3.20 a linear foot and living out for the time on project.
