Mice infestation clean-up

I recently had a mouse infestion in my basement and crawlspaces. My basement was finished (not very well) before I moved in. I can see in the gaps between drywall and ceiling and bad instilation areas that theres a lot of mouse dropping and burrow holes in fiberglass insulation.
What's the best course of action for clean-up?? Do I need to rip it down to studs? Just worried about health risks to my family.
Any info would help.

My professional opinion is and of course only my opinion but your family is alway first so there for I would eliminate any Heath risks or concerns so fully covered in a throw away 15$ painting coveralls gloves and respirator and dispose all the insulation in the affected areas and with windows open use a bleach solution "diluted with water" and using a hand operated spray bottle spray all the existing lumber and saturate it in the solution. Leave it over night or even two to let the air hit it to dry up all the moisture will also hope with any mild effected areas. As long as you confident in the interigity of the would and you spray down there is no need to take the studs out.
