I have water in my basement. Not sure if I should be calling a contractor or a plumber or who would be the best to handle this issue?
Hi Nick, first figure out where the water is coming from. Pipes = plumber, walls = foundation waterproofing guy, through the floor above and dripping down = finding the source above and calling the appropriate guy. We can't see what you see so maybe you start with a handyman to investigate and help steer you in the right direction or possibly even fix it for you.
Good luck with it.

If the water is pouring in from seemingly multiple areas. It could be a drain tile issue on the outside. Theres lots of companies that specialize in this. If the water is coming in through cracks or spalls in the inside of the concrete wall. Call a concrete specialist. If it's just one area where there may be pipes on the interior call a plumber.
Hope that helps.
Is the water entering the basement from an exterior wall maybe at the base of the wall is there any Plumbing in that area? Really you want somebody just to come and take a look and see where water is coming from I would be more than willing to assess the situation for you
Call insurance first, they will tell you what to do and send specialists your way....
Hey Nick
As an emergency plumbing company you have to call your insurance company. Also you may want to call a plumber on site so he can asses your issue.
call a contractor fist to determine where the water came from & start the clean up .
