About 8 years ago we had to pile (X4) the south side of our 1100 foot bungalow. They went 25feet deep on each. A structural engineer was consulted prior to the work.
We have now noticed significant sagging in the hallway that runs east-west based on the molding no longer runds flush to the floor - its now about 2 cm higher.
I wonder if the solution could be as simple as raising the telepost. I wouldn't attempt this job without another engineer but after having added 4 piles, what else could it be? All I seem to read about teleposts is lowering them after a house has settled. No one talks about raising them.
