Sacha,

I would assume you have been working for a company doing this kind of work for at least a year. That way you could pick up a lot of the tricks of the trade, to be sure your product is high quality. And if yes, I would assume that you would know what your employer charged, as do my employees.

I don't want to seem like a rotten guy, but if you had the experiance to do the work properly, you should already have a good idea how to quote it.

Pads, walkways and steps are all based on square footage, with factors that add to that figure.

Mistakes by one contractor effect the overall reputation of us all. So, sorry not truly knowing about your experience, I don't feel comfortable helping you out.

I have a good ideas on how to quote but what I was looking for is some starting advice. I have 10 years in the industry as a carpenter. I'm a journeyman. Been forman for years.

What I was looking for is the ongoing rates for residential work such as garage pads and walkways because I have been doing commercial and industrial mostly.

I just want to do the right quotes and be honest. As for my quality of work, well I'm a trades man so my work professional grade.
