Just wondering if someone can help me I am a sole proprietor of a home renovation company I meet the criteria outlined by the government they have stated in applying for the grant, but I just want to make sure I do actually qualify for it because when I go to fill out the form the section that says which is my business close to home Reno's construction or anything close doesn't come up, also it says that construction wasn't shut down, I just don't want to apply and then owe money has anyone had experience with this?
I did apply for it however I am incorporated not a sole proprietor. If you had 40k or more in payroll you automatically qualify which with a sole proprietor I believe can be just invoiced work as that counts directly to your income. Sorry I couldn't help more but I hope that little bit gets you the grant!
Hi Jason
Whether sole proprietor or incorporated a renovation business is not eligible for the Ontario Grant of $10,000 to $20,000.
I looked into it to get some of the PPE subsidy and as you mentioned the renovation industry is not an eligible business on their drop down menu.

As for me would be better do more for lead generation. If you need B2B lead generation services like https://belkins.io/, don't spend all your money on a data broker. Instead, hire professionals to buy your leads for you. If you are serious about building your business, you have to realize that leads will only grow as long as you continue to attract new customers.
