Lawn left to grow 2ft. long on 1 acre home lot. What would it cost to get lawn back to normal?

The area first should be be cut with a bush hog or a rotary cutter, the left over stubble should then be mowed to further break up the material. The area should be over seeded with a good quality seed and then cut on a regular basis. This would run about $500.00 as long as there were no hidden debris to remove from the area first. Another way to go about it, especially if the area is uneven is to till up the whole area, re-grade and re-seed. This would be around the $750.00 range but would give the best results in the end.
